Starting nursery is a very important milestone in every child's life.  As a parent / carer, you have a vital role to play in helping your child take the first steps on their learning journey.  At Abel Smith we are keen to work with you to make sure that when your child starts at our school it is a positive experience for them so that they can go on to achieve their full potential in a warm and caring environment.

The school carries out its own admission process for Nursery class places and our process for applications for September 2024 will open on 1st February 2024.  If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021 they will be eligible to start nursery in September 2024. At Abel Smith, we offer 30-hour provision for nursery children through a lunch club and afternoon nursery session.  To apply for a nursery place at Abel Smith School please click on the link below to complete an application form.
