  Truly amazing!

  In the 2023 Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, 97% of pupils at Abel Smith School achieved the expected standard. This means we are among the top 3% of all primary schools in the country.

  Don’t forget to order your delicious fresh pizza and cookie kits by Saturday 12 November for delivery to school on Friday 18^th November to join in with ABEL SMITH PIZZA AT HOME NIGHT.

  The school will receive a percentage for every kit sold so this is a great way to help raise funds AND enjoy a fun night at home baking fresh pizzas and cookies!

  • 12" pizza kits are £6.50 each - add pepperoni as an extra. Vegan kits (dairy free) are available but sorry, no gluten free as the dough is too gloopy.
  • Cookie kits are £4.50 each - choose from chocolate chip, chocolate brownie or oat & raisin.

  Please encourage friends and family to order too!

  The fine print

  The fresh kits will be delivered to school on 18th November - if you order two or three kits, these will be combined to minimise packaging waste.
  Please order in the name of your eldest child and collect from the following places:

  • Nursery & Reception - Rooks Alley entrance
  • Year 1 to Year 6 - Main School Playground

  We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2021/22 academic year. The 5th Year in a row!
   
  The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in
  2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward and recognise school’s engagement (provision and uptake) in the School Games against a national benchmark and to celebrate keeping young people active, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
