Special Educational Needs & Disability
Abel Smith believes in offering all our pupils a fully inclusive learning experience. We are committed to providing educational opportunities which will help our pupils reach their full potential. In this school, inclusion recognises a child’s right to a broad, balanced, relevant and challenging curriculum which is appropriate to children’s individual abilities, talents and personal qualities.
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) is Mrs Berry. She is responsible for coordinating the provision, assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs or disabilities in our school.
