It has been exciting this week, studying the work of Henry Moore. He was an artist and sculptor, famous for his ‘lumpy, bumpy, holey’ sculptures. We learned about the artist’s life and studied some of his most famous pieces. Next we used clay to model figures in the style of Henry Moore. He created ‘masks’ of faces, showing different emotions. As part of our Ancient Greece topic , we are using our knowledge of Henry Moore to design and create a mask that could be used in the Greek Theatre. Share our work and see if you can see the emotions our pieces show.
