Year 5 have had great fun being creative this week. It has been a brilliant start to a new year, involving ourselves in team building activities and creative play. We have enjoyed Yoga and Mindfulness sessions, which have prepared us for the busy term ahead.
As part of our Ancient Greek Topic, Axel and Scarlett – our Sports Ambassadors, ran a ‘Mini-Olympics’. On Wednesday 19th July, Year 5 enjoyed a French themed day in class. We made passports containing information about ourselves in French, enjoyed a game of boules in the playground, and (the undoubted highlight of the day) practised ordering drinks and pastries in our classroom cafe.
