On Tuesday afternoon, Year 5 earned an extra P.E. session with our Sports Coach. As a link to our Topic – ‘Ancient Greece’, we learned new skills in a Mini-Olympics circuit. Each group moved around the activities challenging themselves to run ‘Faster’, jump ‘Higher’ and throw ‘Stronger’ – working on the Olympic values.
We had great fun timing ourselves and measuring the distance we could jump or throw. We are now going to work each week to improve our fitness – times and performance.
